Penwith Beach Games 1st July 2009
Well done Cape Cornwall, Hayle and Mounts Bay who took part in the Penwith Beach Games on Wednesday!
The Games were held at Upton Towans beach in Hayle, as taster day for those students who may not usually get the opportunity to take part in a big sporting event.
EVERYONE participated in ALL the sports offered, which was impressive considering the heat. The sports included:
* Beach Volleyball
* Lifeguard Games (beach flags, paddleboard relay)
* Beach Football
Congratulations to Hayle who won, it was very close but they stole the lead in the end. Thank you to all that participated and got involved: students, PSSP staff, teachers and coaches.
A big thank you to St. Ives Bay Holiday Park for allowing this event to go ahead.
