Free Swimming

Keen fresh air swimmers, of any age, can take a dip for free on certain weekends in September in Hayle open air pool and Penzance Jubilee pool.

 The Jubilee Pool in Penzance, owned and run by Cornwall Council, will remain open throughout September, everyday from 10.30am to 6pm.

 Free Swimming will be available on the following weekends in September:

Saturday 12  and Sunday 13,Saturday 19  and Sunday 20,Saturday 26  and Sunday 27.

 Local Cornwall Councillor, for Penzance Central, Tamsin Williams says “This is a great opportunity for everyone to enjoy a healthy freebie at our wonderful original 1930’s lido”.

 Hayle Pool, owned and run by the Town Council with staff provided by Cornwall Council, will open until Sunday 13 September, everyday from 10am to 6pm with free swimming all weekend on Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 September. 

 Local Cornwall Councillor, for Hayle North, John Pollard says “‘I hope lots of people will take advantage of this offer of free swims.  They will discover that Hayle Pool is an excellent and very safe way to enjoy a swim – it’s perfect for all the family. Let’s hope the sun shines that weekend!”
