£100 discount on Quicksticks Hockey Bags

The England Hockey Board (EHB) is offering schools and affiliated hockey clubs £100.00 off the price of a full Quicksticks kit bag for a limited period only, on a first come first served basis.  Quicksticks is the EHB’s introductory game designed specifically for primary schools and 7-11 year olds.  It is fun, fast, safe and exciting!  The adaptations within the game make it more enjoyable for players and easier for schools and clubs to provide. 

 

QUICKSTICKS IS:

SAFE - The specially designed equipment includes a larger, lighter and safer ball, and different sized sticks all featuring teaching aids on the artwork.

COST EFFECTIVE - No goalkeeper equipment or hockey goals are required.

ACCESSIBLE - No sophisticated facilities are required, and it can be played on a variety of surfaces including playgrounds, netball courts, astroturf, grass and in sports halls.

EASY TO DELIVER - Educational resources can be accessed to include 49 illustrated Challenge Cards, the rules of Quicksticks and a Curriculum resource which gives six weeks of lesson plans for years 3, 4, 5 and 6 to save teachers time and energy in writing out their

own!

INCLUSIVE - It is enjoyable to play for players of both genders and all hockey abilities. No GKs are required, and it offers all players full involvement and increased playing time.

ENJOYABLE - Smaller sides and simpler rules make the game of hockey more exciting by reducing stoppages, minimising danger, and maximising ball contact and involvement. Players are also given a chance to have a go at managing and umpiring.
