Jubilee Pool

2010 sees a fresh operation at Jubilee Pool through the Cornwall Council Leisure Service. Following a fundamental review of the pool’s operation our aim is to develop the pool as a venue for sports and other cultural activity, with as many people as possible utilising the facility. Ultimately, we are seeking to extend the length of the pool season and offer a full range of watersports between Easter and November each year.

Key points:

• The pool opens on Saturday 29 May and closes on 30 September
• Opening times 1030 – 1800 daily
• Swimming – pre-arranged schools groups are charged at £1 per person, including staff
• Other Sports Activities – We are currently able to offer kayaking, Rookie Lifeguard and raft building sessions.
  • These are tailored to individual groups but are typically limited to 10-12 students per session.
  • Prices start at approximately £100 for the first session of 2hrs, reducing to £15 per hour for subsequent classes on the same day.
  • Interested schools are invited to call and discuss individual requirements.
• Cultural Events & Activity – We are really keen for groups to use the iconic building for all kinds of activity and already have bookings for concerts, shows and arts installation. The pool is now also fully licensed.
